Silver Spring Square

Located on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, PA, the retail center is described by owner/developer Regency Centers as a synergistic line-up of destination retailers including Wegmans, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, Ulta, Ross Dress for Less, and Lane Bryant. Also included in the development are several restaurants including Longhorn Steakhouse, Chili’s, Panera Bread and Chick-Fil-A. EEI provided preliminary and supplemental geotechnical investigation services for the entire development on behalf of Regency Centers. We also provided construction testing, inspection and consulting services to the owner/developer and the national retail chains. EEI provided both design and construction recommendations for sinkhole mitigation and oversight during sinkhole repairs. In addition to the Silver Spring Square retail center, we provided geotechnical investigation and foundation design services for associated township and state roadway improvements, retaining walls, and the construction of a new bridge.
