Pine Run Dam Rehabilitation

Earth Engineering Incorporated provided geotechnical consulting and inspections for the Pine Run Dam (DEP #45-124) Rehabilitation project in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County, PA. Our project scope encompassed geotechnical investigation for 1,300 liner feet of dam including a de-watering plan, and instrumentation package for slope stability including piezometers and inclinometers monitoring and data reduction.  EEI also provided full inspection services, which included bulk earthwork quality control for compaction and moisture control, as well as materials compliance.  Concrete quality control was conducted by concrete field and laboratory testing.
