Montgomery County Community College – West Campus

The South Hall Building at the Montgomery County Community College – West Campus is located at 101 College Drive In Pottstown, PA.  The building houses the Library, Campus Store, and Student Services/Admissions.  Located between the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad and former Industrial Highway (College Drive) the site was situated in lowlands and frequently flooded.  Plans included raising site grades to elevate the site out of the flood plain.  Soft, wet soils were found and John Caccese, P.E., acting as the geotechnical engineer, developed a program for site remediation.  EEI also performed the quality control services for this project.
